PRIVACY AGREEMENT

§ 1 INFORMATION ON THE COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

  1. In the following, we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g., name, address, e-mail address, user behaviour.
  2. The responsible person according to article 4 paragraph 7 of the DS GVO is Marco Niedenführ (see our disclaimer). You can reach our data protection officer Deborah Niedenführ at bh@ltngmbh.de or at our postal address. Please address correspondence to the  “The data protection officer“. 
  3. Whenever you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data accrued in this context after storage is no longer necessary or restrict processing if legal retention periods exist.
  4. In the event that we use contracted service providers for individual functions of our offer or would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes in the following sections. In doing so, we will also state the defined criteria for the storage period.

§ 3 COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA WHEN VISITING OUR WEBSITE

When only using our website to gather information, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. When you want to view our website, we collect the following data which is technically necessary to display our website and to ensure stability and safety (Legal basis is Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 DS GVO/ General Data Protection Regulation GDPR/):

    • Date and time of request
    • Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time
    • Content of the request
    • Access status http status code
    • Amount of data transferred in each case
    • Web page from which the request originates

    • Operating system and its interface

  1.  In addition to the above-mentioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive associated with the browser you are using and through which the entity that sets the cookie (in this case us) receives certain information. Cookies cannot run programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They are designed to make the Internet offer as a whole more user-friendly and effective.

    • This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:
      • Transient cookies (see b)
      • Persistent cookies (see c)
    • Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. In particular, these include session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests of your browser can be assigned to the common session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
    • Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a predefined period, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

    • The Flash cookies used are not collected by your browser, but by your Flash plug-in. In addition, we use HTML5 storage objects that are stored on your terminal device. These objects store the required data regardless of the browser you use and have no automated expiration date. If you do not want Flash cookies to be processed, you need to install an appropriate add-on. You can prevent the use of HTML5 storage objects by setting your browser to private mode.   1. Videos
    1. We have integrated YouTube videos into our online offer, which are stored at http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website.
    2. By visiting the website, YouTube receives the information that you have called up the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the IP address, the date and time of the request; the time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time; the content of the request (specific page); the access status/HTTP status code; the respective amount of data transferred; the website from which the request comes, the browser; the operating system and its interface and the language and version of the browser software are transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want assignment with your profile at YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) for the provision of tailored advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, but you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

    1. For this website, we use the functionality of Google Maps. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function comfortably.

    1. Web fonts
      We use fonts (”Google Fonts“) provided by Google Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA to make our homepage more attractive and customer-friendly. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. For the display of these fonts on our homepage, our homepage establishes a direct connection to the Google servers. This may involve the transmission of the IP address, the date, the time of the request, the time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time; the content of the request (specific page); the access status/http status code; the respective amounts of data transmitted; the website from which the request originates; the browser; the operating system and its interface and the language and version of the browser software. § 5 TRACKING

Google Analytics

  1. This website uses Google Analytics, a Web analytics service of Google Inc. (”Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies“, text files stored on your computer which allow an analysis of how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, in the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.
  2. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.
  3. You can configure your browser settings to refuse storage of the cookies. Please note that you may then not be able to use all features of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
  4. This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “anonymizeIp()”. This means that IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form, thus excluding the possibility of personal references. Insofar as the data collected about you has a personal reference, this will be automatically excluded and the personal data will be deleted immediately.
  5. We use Google Analytics to be able to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained allow us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US- Framework. § 6 INTEGRATION OF SERVICE PROVIDERS

For the operation of this website, we use the services of a service provider specialized in web hosting and are supported by an advertising agency for the maintenance of the pages. Upon request, we will provide you with a detailed overview of the service providers we use. A transfer of data to other service providers does not take place.

§ 7 updates

We continuously optimize our web offer and make technical changes when necessary. For this reason, we expressly point out that our data protection declaration is only valid in the current version at the time of your visit.
